A title track from the official score of a short-film with the same name, directed by a group of anonymous directors based in Riga in 1982. The movie tells an extraordinary story of an ordinary soviet mechanic, Grigorii, who turned his car, VAZ-2101 "Zhiguli", into a female, Kristina, and with whom he fell in love with afterwards. Inspired by John Carpenter's classic "Christine", this movie tells a fascinating soviet love story of the "Zastoi" era in an exceptionally modern way. The movie ending is quite sad though, as Kristina dumps Grigorii, joins Interdevochka model agency and moves to the United States in 1988. Sadly enough, the film tapes have been lost forever too, but by some miracle a demo recording of the title track has survived and has been successfully reworked by yours truly.
